What Is HPHT Lab Grown Diamond ? The high temperature and high pressure (HPHT) method evolved from the catalytic method has become the main method for synthesizing gem-quality diamonds. The temperature and pressure used in this method are lower than those of the direct method, and the conversion of carbonaceous raw materials to diamond is promoted by adding catalysts such as iron and nickel. The role of the catalyst is to speed up the synthesis process and reduce the required temperature and pressure. Lab Grown Diamonds VS Natural Diamonds First-Lab grown diamonds have the same composition, physical properties, chemical properties and optical properties as natural diamonds, but they are grown in different environments. Second-In 2018, the US FTC deleted the word natural in natural diamonds, changed it to mineral diamonds, and included lab grown diamonds in the diamond trade. Thirdly-Lab grown diamonds have the same identification system and certificates as natural diamonds
BOSDI Abrasives Co. Ltd is located in Zhengzhou City, which is known as the "Diamond Capital of China", and we are mainly engaged in HPHT diamonds, CVD diamonds and custom diamond jewelry.
The highest standards are achieved in our laboratory by using the latest technology, strictly in accordance with natural diamond craftsmanship, and hand polished according to the 4C of diamond grading standards.
The physical, chemical and optical properties of cultivated diamonds are completely consistent with those of natural diamonds, which has the advantages of simple production process, environmental protection, low price, and variable styles.
We actively cooperate with excellent diamond wholesalers in the industry to provide different solutions for diamond customization.
1953 Swedish compnay develops 40 small diamond crystals
1954 Dr.General Electric Hall led a team to cultivate diamonds using HPHT technology
1963 Chinese first artificial diamond was born
1970 GE successfully grows large gem-quality diamonds
1982 Japanese Sumitomo Group creates a 1.2-carat diamond
2012-2017 Lab grown diamonds apprear in Jewelry market
2018-2022 FTC adds lab-grown diamonds to diamond trade
after 2023......
HPHT diamonds are grown in a small chamber inside a device that can generate extremely high pressures. The carbon feedstock, such as graphite, in the chamber is melted in a metallic co-solvent composed of elements such as iron (Fe), nickel (Ni), cobalt (Co), etc., thereby reducing the temperature and pressure required for diamond growth. The carbon material then moves to the cooler diamond seed crystal with the aid of a co-solvent and crystallizes thereon, forming a synthetic diamond crystal. The crystallization process takes days to weeks to form one or more crystals. It is mainly used to make various jewelry such as crowns, diamond rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, etc. it can also be inlaid on mobile phones, notebooks, watches, cars and other items, mainly playing a decorative role to improve the added value and appearance of products.

The production technology and process of synthetic diamond are becoming more and more mature. China's output of synthetic diamond accounts for more than 90% of the world's total output of synthetic diamond, and has become the largest producer of synthetic diamond in the world. As the quality of domestic products is difficult to meet the industry standard of diamond cutting line and the output of refined nickel is insufficient, most manufacturers rely on foreign imports. The following is an analysis of the current situation of the diamond industry.
